Telia proposes eliminating approximately 900 employee and consultant positions and transferring approximately 220 positions primarily into country units. Transfers are separate from cuts. Completion is targeted for December 31, subject to union negotiations. Central functions would retain strategy and governance; shared technology capabilities would include security and television services.

Management targets SEK 1 billion in annual gross savings, with approximately SEK 600 million of fourth-quarter restructuring charges, cash effects mainly in 2027 and full run-rate cash-flow benefit from 2028. SEK denotes Swedish kronor. The proposal was announced October 12.
